Capitalism, communism & the domino theory

Capitalism

Capitalism is every man for themselves in a country and the goverment lets people in their country earn as much as they can with no ristrictions. As well as big industries are not owed by the goverment and pay themselves as much as they like.

Communism

Communism is a country that has equal rights and every one has to have a payment and work for the state.

Cold war

A cold war is a war with conflict but with no actual fighting it is a war that there is lots of talking and threats to there oppisition but there is no fighting with other people with guns. It is fighting behind the scenes and no one can see it.

The domino theory

the domino theory was a forgein policy that the goverment follows and it was used by United state wanting Vietnam to become Capitalism country like the USA but they didn't want to and wanted to be a communism and the domino theory follows this as when the domino is layed down it means they are communism and stood up is Capitalism and in the cartoon published at the time USA are trying to keep the dominos up but on the other side Vietnam trying to push them down.

    Nazi-soviet pact

Some have said that the Nazi-Soviet Pact was the single most important reason for the start of the
Second World War. Would you agree with this judgement?
On the 23rd August, 1939 the whole world came to a shock  as Russia and Germany signed an agreement on a Non-aggression Pact. The two countries had a number of 'secret protocal' agreeing to 'spheres of influence' in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Poland. It came up to an agreement to invade and divide the countries of eastern Europe between them with Poland been the first one to invade. Neville Chamberlain was the British prime minister at the time, was not enthusiastic about forming an alliance with the Soviet Union. I agree that the Nazi-Soviet pact was to blame as Russia and England joined and dicussed what they was going to do with Germany and how they could stop Hitler. This would of had some effect on Germany as it would of put pressure on them and could of caused world war 2. England dicided to invaded Germany after Hitler invaded Poland and the preasure the Nazi-Siet pact put on him may have made him invade more countries. On the other hand Nazi-Soviet pact was the best thing they could of done at the time and did help in stopping Hitler from getting everything he wanted as they discussed what they would tdo to him because he invaded so many countries and this lead to the world war 2.

    league of nations 5w's

The league of nations was  a peace treaty that was set up in Genva to solve conflict in a peaceful manner and to make sure their was never going to be another world war. Their was 42 countries joined up to this peace treaty including powerful countries such as France and England but USA didn't join even though Woodrow Wilson came up with the idea of the peace treaty. The league of nations was based in Paris and was operating from 1920 -39 and was not very effective in some cases. One reason why the league of nations was not effective and countries could rely on this peace treaty is because it was flexable and wasn't secure in which countrie when got their punishment could sign out and their for not get their punishment so countries started to walk all over it and ended up finished after showing no helpness to both the manchurian or abysinian crisis and theey played a big part in history and the life of the league of nations as they was slow to react and when they did they had already sorted it or did do anything to help.

    Over view of manchurian crisis

During the 1931 the Japaneese controlled the railway at the bottom of Manchuria, then the Mukhan explotion acurred and no one knows who did or caused this explotion and japan used this crisis for a reason for them to move in for more land and materails and they moved in using mustard gas and blowing up hospitals and nasty stuff like that and Japan got as far as Shanghai until manchuria appealed to the league of nation who was slow to react and not so effective. Then lord Lyyton came over to Manchuria to see what had happened and he declared Japan to move out so Japan leaved the league and then the league wontd France and England to move in but they didn't.
